Meet Pockets Warhol, a 20 year old white-faced capuchin monkey (with a likeness to Andy Warhol) who has become world famous through the artwork he creates as a form of enrichment!
Every Sunday (if he's in the mood) he paints with our lovely volunteer Charmaine!
You can now purchase your own Pockets Warhol original by visiting http://pocketswarhol.blogspot.com ! All funds raised will go towards feeding and caring for our monkeys, as well as towards the building of a new barn to house more primates in need.
Fall Newsletter!
Hey everyone! Please check out our fancy Fall Newsletter, courtesy of the volunteers at SBFPS! We've had an outstanding year, and have much more to come for the holiday season, so check our newsletter for all the gossip and juicy details!
Many people ask how they can get involved and help the sanctuary residents. Through our Foster Friends program, you can "adopt" one of our primate residents. The funds will go to continuing to provide high quality care, in a loving, respectful and dignified environment. Foster Friends makes a great "green" gift and helps change lives.
"A Special Thanks to Dr. Jim Holmes and the wonderful staff at the Anderson Veterinary Clinic in Whitby. Your veterinary care of the monkeys is always impeccable. Thank-you for all your hard work."
As well a Special Thanks to:
Ken Bertrand and James Hillman for donating their services free of charge and supporting our cause.
